One of the best fashion designers in the world has been given the boot. John Galliano, head designer at the Christian Dior fashion house, was finally dismissed today for making anti-semitic remarks. Sidney Toledano,  CEO of CD said, "We unequivocally condemn the statements made by John Galliano, which are in total contradiction to the longstanding core values of Christian Dior."
Galliano was caught on video saying things like "love Hitler... People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers would all be fucking gassed." Wow, John... just wow. Seriously? Do you remember that Hitler, the person you seem to look upon to, also persecuted homosexuals? I can't deny that this is one amazing and creative designer, but I can't say that I feel sorry for him in the slightest.
Now on to the question in all fashion junkies' mind... Who will replace him? I've read about YSL's Stefano Pilati, Givenchy's Ricardo Tisci and Hedi Slimane. My votes are on Tisci.
